So, the story begins when I participated in a giveaway on Instagram in conjunction with Malaysia's Independence Day which falls on 31st August every year. This year was the 64th Independence Day. Unlike in 'normal' years where we used to hang-out at Mamak restaurant eating Roti Canai paired with iced Milo for supper after passionately watching fireworks, this year we snuggled ourselves at home instead while browsing for food promotions online. That was when my sister told me about this giveaway on Instagram in which she didn't participate but I did.
I mean who wouldn't want free brownies to treat yourselves? So I decided to participate along with some of my acquaintances who I've mentioned in my comment under the post. This was what I commented under their post describing why Independence Day is a special day to me.
And, guess what, I was featured in Bake With Winnie Instagram story being tagged among the winners to win the brownies! I texted them and arranged for Lalamove delivery from their place to mine. The process went smooth thanks to the considerate rider and the lovely brownies reached my home on 5th Sep 2021.
Couldn't contain my excitement when I saw the cute little brownies packed and delivered neatly. Packaging really gives a good impression of a product, take note entrepreneurs.
After some sanitization process, I opened the box to witness fudge brownies topped with chocolate with almond sprinkles. Loved it at first sight!
Taken under natural light just to showcase the beauty of it.
The next moment almost quarter of these brownies unified in me, my sisters and mom. Our family loved it as the brownies were delightful. Everything fell right into its place, especially the fudginess of the brownies. Really loved the combination between the almond crunches and the chocolate topping. Yum!

Of course, I would like to express my gratitude to the baker for organising this lovely giveaway upon Independence Day. It really made my post-Merdeka celebration day.
